Role Description

We have an opportunity to join a Senior Field Applications Engineer for our Honeywell Sensing Solutions (HSS) team in Spain and support the South European markets. As a Senior Field Applications Engineer with HSS, you will be responsible for creating multiple business opportunities by identifying new applications while keeping the existing product and technology at its core.

• Creating a right product pipeline in collaboration with external customers, Offering management, and Engineering team in Industrial Automation (IA).
• Liaising with various stakeholders.
• Building NPI pipeline and prioritizing it for the biggest business impact.
• Creating a healthy project delivery with maximum ROI.
• Extensive coordination with various Honeywell cross-functional teams like Offering Management, Engineering team, and various vendors for quick prototypes.
• Focusing on ideation to NPI conversion and translating customer requirements into product requirements followed by technical delivery.

The portfolio to support includes custom-engineered sensors, switches, machine safeguarding, and other devices offering enhanced precision, repeatability, and durability to a variety of original equipment manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Experience in field applications engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies and product development processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
