Role Description

The Senior Benefits Consultant has leadership responsibility for the consulting strategy, service, and delivery for all customers in the Senior Benefits Consultant’s book of business.

• Serve as the leader for the assigned consulting delivery team, composed of Benefits Consultants, Customer Experience Managers, and Benefits Consulting Analysts.
• Provide strategic guidance to ensure exceptional customer results and satisfaction, and the achievement of Bennie’s business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience working in benefits consulting, managing a book of customers.
• Experience working with insurance carriers & vendors to build benefit solutions.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship building skills.
• Excited to join a startup and work with senior team members.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of benefits consulting experience, with a primary focus on managing complex client accounts across diverse market segments (small, mid-market, and large group).
• Demonstrated expertise in various funding mechanisms and deep knowledge of large-group regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Life & Health Producer’s License.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
