Role Description

The Sales specialist for Northern Europe, France and Benelux is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. This position reports to the Sales manager Beer EUROPE and is part of the EMEA Food & Beverage team located in Belgium. The role could be based remotely in Denmark.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead customer discussion focused on problem-solving, pain points and long-term value to drive solution creation.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of customer process, applications, constraints, and growth plans to shape commercial strategy and solution positioning.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date system sales funnel in CRM (Salesforce-SFDC), ensuring all opportunities, stakeholders, next steps, technical requirements and financial details are recorded and updated weekly and in accordance with standard work.
  • Participate in recurring funnel reviews, presenting opportunity health, risks, forecast impact, and countermeasures to ensure predictable order closure.
  • Achieve annual order and revenue objectives through both existing system customers and net new business development.
  • Drive opportunity progression from qualification to close by executing a disciplined sales process and following up on all quotations, proposals, and customer requests in a timely manner, defined by standard work practices.

Qualifications

  • A trained engineer, food technician and/or science related degree.
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverages market.
  • Proven successful track record in sales and be able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Experience in either the Filtration or the food Industry.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel – 50% travel, 2-3 overnight per week.
  • A clean driving license.
