Role Description
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining client relationships. You will be part of a new Sales Team in Eastern Europe and report to the Sales Director Eastern Europe. Your responsibilities include:
- All sales and seeking new opportunities and contacts to grow the market
- Developing and presenting competitive sales strategies
- Executing key sales initiatives in your responsible region
- Achieving sales goals and objectives
- Developing and building relationships with various (clinical) decision makers
- Advising and negotiating in conflict situations
- Assisting in organizational effectiveness efforts
- Managing customer contact and frequency of contact within designated area
- Creating a call plan
- Adopting Key Account Manager approach to high potential customers
- Organizing, planning, and executing sales and training seminars
- Reducing spending and minimizing returns on scrap products
- Analyzing sales data and developing plans based on market and industry data
- Assisting Sales Director and Marketing Specialist with activities such as product launches and competitive analyses
- Providing leadership with information based on gathered field information
- Building and expanding relationships with customers and partnerships
- Supporting translation of materials to local language and localization of marketing materials
- Supporting local marketing campaigns
- Supporting Customer Service Team and acting as First Contact Person for customers locally
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or an international equivalent in a related field
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Sales including advisory experience
- Good verbal and written knowledge of English language
- Experience in the Medical Devices industry is a must, CPO experience is preferred
- Good understanding of the financials, products/services, and capability needs of the company
