Role Description

Manage the sales territory and be responsible for achieving ambitious sales targets and ensuring strong customer satisfaction.

Responsible for the full sales process from prospecting to closing and hand off to the project delivery teams.
Charge of daily sales activities to achieve ambitious sales targets and build a sustainable pipeline of future opportunities.
Ensure all enquiries are recorded on the CRM system in an accurate and timely fashion.
Monthly, quarterly and annual sale forecasting accuracy is important.
Develop deep customer relationships and understand customers' business models to match high technology processing solutions.
Listen to market and customer needs to bring added value in addressing those needs.
Foster deep relationships across multiple levels of the customer's organization to generate trust and high customer engagement.
Provide detailed local market intelligence (trends, competitors, etc.) for planning.
Plan and liaise with colleagues on trade show/congress selection and attendance, social media content, speaking events, and media/PR events.
Champion customer satisfaction within the territory.
Develop and execute 1-3 plans for the territory and assist in building rolling 5-year strategic plans for growth.
Identify new opportunities for development.
Must be a self-starter and able to work under own initiative.

Qualifications

B.S. in Business, Economics, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in selling large capital industrial equipment and managing large sales areas.
Knowledge of and selling to the waste and recycling industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge and network within regional waste and recycling categories is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in English) and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
Ability to work in customer waste and recycling plants and outside in high/low temperatures.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50 - 70% of the time.
