Role Description

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Lead based remotely, to oversee:

  • Reservations Management & Lead Qualification:
    • Engage with guests through calls, emails, and chats on partner platforms, effectively promoting the luxury Rove experience.
    • Qualify, manage, and progress a pipeline of potential guests.
    • Streamline routine tasks within the Sales team to optimize performance and focus on strategic tasks.
    • Assist the Concierge team with in-house guests, including reservation extensions, relocations, payment tracking, and various admin tasks.
    • Implement Operations training and sales initiatives as we continue to scale.
    • Identify sales opportunities by qualifying inbound leads and suggesting suitable options based on client requirements.
    • Support the Sales Manager with property owner relations and provide feedback on pricing & occupancy.
    • Work closely with the Listings team to ensure all information is accurate & up to date.
    • Contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
    • Rapidly iterate on feedback to enhance team, workflow, market occupancy, and revenue.

Qualifications

  • Native equivalent fluency in business English.
  • Sales and/or Real Estate experience in short term rentals or hotels (U.S. based).
  • Ability to run proper exploratory/discovery calls, be an active listener, manage objections and negotiation.
  • Empathy and sales skills, ideally within Tech, Hotel or Real Estate sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Proficiency in computer, web, and mobile phone apps.
  • Customer-first mindset and closing mindset with a sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use and understand our CRM (HubSpot).
  • A coachable individual able to implement feedback.
  • A highly consultative, active listener, with strong objection management and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • Bonus Points if you have geographical awareness of New York City’s neighborhoods and transit time/options.
  • Start-up experience.
  • Experience working with tech products (like: HubSpot, Slack, OpenPhone, G-Suite, & Guesty).

Benefits

  • This full-time position is a contractor role offering a competitive monthly salary.
  • Additional monthly commission based on performance to goal (revenue & occupancy).
  • Unlimited Paid-Time Off to be coordinated with your manager on a rolling basis.
  • This position will be 5-days a week from approximately Sunday - Thursday, 9am - 6pm EST. Must be receptive to infrequent off-hour requests.
