Role Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team. With a focus on the Midwest-Ohio Valley territory, you will be responsible for distributor management and work alongside the sales teams of large distributors to provide sales and technical assistance during their meetings with customers. You will also work directly with customers to propose and quote custom solutions. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of rotating equipment (mixers, pumps, agitators, etc.). To thrive in this role, you must be an excellent listener with effective interpersonal skills. Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of the product lines
• Provide sales and technical assistance to distributors
• Conduct pre-sale activities and travel to customer sites
• Interpret plans, specifications, and interface with customers to determine needs
• Develop and implement customized demonstrations
• Design and quote solutions based on gathered information
• Maintain communication throughout the entire sales process
• Deliver timely support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of industrial sales experience required
• Working knowledge of rotating equipment (mixers, pumps, agitators, etc.) required
• Proficiency with CRMs (Salesforce or similar) required
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time required

Requirements

• Location: Must reside within 100 miles of Cincinnati, OH (remote role with travel client sites)
• Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + Commission + Benefits
• Benefit: Medical, Dental, 401k w/ match, PTO, Paid Holidays, Mileage Reimbursement
