Role Description

The primary objective of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to follow up on all Lusha intent suspects that have been identified, send them emails, engage on social media, and generally nurture leads to drive and uncover interest, ultimately securing initial introductory calls for Frank around Pen Testing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify inbound leads that have shown interest in our cyber security services.
  • Lead Nurturing: Engage with potential leads through follow-up calls, emails, and social media interactions to nurture their interest.
  • Pipeline Development: Develop a pipeline of qualified leads by understanding their needs and determining their potential for our services.
  • Intro Calls: Secure initial introductory calls with prospects for the sales team, focusing on Pen Testing services.
  • Metrics Tracking: Monitor and track key performance metrics, including the number of qualified leads, lead response time, and conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation and nurturing efforts and with sales reps to pass on qualified leads.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage and build relationships with potential leads.
  • Understanding of Buyer Personas: Ability to understand and identify key buyer personas and qualification criteria.
  • Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building skills to nurture leads and guide them through the sales funnel.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software, email marketing tools, and lead nurturing platforms.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up.

Key Metrics

  • Number of Qualified Leads: Measure the number of leads passed to sales reps.
  • Lead Response Time: Track the time taken to respond to inbound leads.
  • Conversion Rate: Monitor the conversion rate from lead to qualified opportunity.

Tools and Platforms

  • CRM Software: Utilize CRM systems to manage and track leads.
  • Email Marketing Tools: Use email marketing platforms to send and track follow-up emails.
  • Lead Nurturing Platforms: Engage with leads using social media and other nurturing tools.

Collaboration

  • Marketing Team: Coordinate with the marketing team to generate and nurture leads.
  • Sales Reps: Work closely with sales reps to pass on qualified leads and provide necessary context for follow-ups.
