Role Description

We & Goliath is looking for a seasoned and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our thriving Sales Department. As the Account Manager, you will be the key point of contact for new and existing B2B clients, expertly guiding them through our organized sales pipeline, from being an unknown prospect to becoming a loyal repeat customer. • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
• Use a CRM to manage leads and track progress through the sales pipeline.
• Conduct introductory calls and presentations to potential customers to qualify them as viable prospects.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals and pitches to potential customers.
• Follow up with inbound leads and inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities.
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services or renewals.
• Identify areas for growth and expansion within existing accounts and develop strategies to drive increased sales.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful execution of events and projects.
• Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate new leads.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide clients with innovative solutions.
• Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure their goals are being met and to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Monitor and analyse key sales metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation campaigns.
• Create and deliver customized presentations to key decision-makers within target accounts.
• Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients.
• Effectively communicate client needs and feedback to internal teams to ensure successful execution of projects.
• Play a pivotal role in driving exponential growth and scaling the business.
• Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the event production, digital marketing, or related industries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in using CRMs and sales tools to manage leads and track progress through the sales pipeline.
• Familiarity with Virtual and Hybrid event production, design, and digital marketing best practices and trends is a bonus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed to support events and projects is a bonus.

• Receive competitive compensation, $55,000 - $65,000 USD OTE which is negotiable based on your experience, skills, and ability to reach achievable sales targets.
