Role Description

The Senior Sales Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for leading and overseeing the sales team to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and fostering key relationships both internally and externally.

  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.

  • Utilize market research to make informed decisions and adapt strategies to changing market conditions.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
  • Oversee the contract and proposal process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Address customer concerns, feedback, and inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources efficiently to achieve targets.
  • Implement cost-effective measures while maintaining the quality of sales operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • While not always mandatory, a master’s degree in any related field can enhance qualifications and open up opportunities for career development.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • 3 or more years of work experience is often required for managerial roles.
  • Deep understanding of the industry in which the organization operates, including market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Familiarity with the specific products or services offered by the company.
