[Hiring] Performance Account Executive @Diversified

Role Description

The Account Executive will join a solid team of professionals who are passionate about growing Diversified's role serving live performance spaces, churches, faith-based organizations, and faith-based broadcasters around the world.

• Performance-based hunter role utilizing a consultative solutions sales approach.
• Solid relationship builder with the ability to penetrate organizations and build strong relationships.
• Empowered to develop the Live Performance market by establishing relationships with influential end users, established consultants, and architects.
• Work alongside the sales and design team to create engaging and high-impact production environments.
• Own the client relationship fully from start to finish, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
• This position is 100% remote and will require travel to visit clients in person up to 60% of the time.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional live audio/video production experience in relevant field.
• Self-motivation to maintain a high activity level and source new business opportunities.
• Elevated level of professionalism (excellent oral & written communication skills, as well as excellent in-person presentation skills).
• Ability to make smart and informed decisions under pressure, critical thinking and execution.
• Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time.
• Desire to work in a thriving, high energy, ever-changing workplace environment.
• Proven ability to identify and develop new relationship opportunities.
• Punctuality and team mentality over self.
• MS Office skills; Sketchup skills preferred.
• Bachelors, Associates, or Technical degree, or equivalent work experience accepted.

Requirements

• Develop client relationships, make prospect calls to generate customer meetings.
• Maintain customer data in the CRM, organize client meetings.
• Ensure clients’ objectives, problems, and needs are fully understood, provide value-added solutions.
• Conduct high level conversations with executive leadership.
• Function as the lead customer relationship manager for new and assigned accounts.
• Opportunity forecasting/sales proposals/sales pipeline utilizing a CRM.
• Participate in coordinated activities such as trade shows and conferences.
• Participate in sales meetings with clients, design reviews with our internal team, and project training and client consulting as needed.
• Responsible for the creation of opinions of cost budgets, rough orders of magnitude, conceptuals, bill of materials, narratives, and agreements at the direction of team leadership.
• Good understanding of production system technologies with specialization in at least one of the major disciplines – concert audio, multi-camera video, stage lighting, and/or environment design.
• Experience in production leadership within live performance, church and/or faith-based organizations.
• Ability to understand, synthesize and create AV system designs.
• Understanding of IT and networking technologies.
• Good business negotiation skills.
