Role Description
Our client, a growing leader in the painting industry, is seeking a Remote National Sales Rep to drive strategic growth with large-scale commercial clients across the U.S. You’ll take ownership of high-value accounts and lead national sales efforts focused on identifying, engaging, and converting opportunities in facility management, property management, education, industrial, and construction sectors. You’ll manage both new business development and account expansion—working leads, nurturing aging accounts, and closing commercial deals with longer sales cycles.
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated sales pros with a proven track record in service-based sales, thrive on autonomy, build trust quickly, and balance proactive outreach with long-term relationship management. Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new large-dollar commercial accounts
- Nurture and expand existing accounts across national markets
- Create and execute strategic sales plans by territory and target
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings daily
- Travel monthly to meet key clients and attend industry events
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities in CRM system
- Collaborate with project managers to align on client needs
- Track pipeline progress and hit activity metrics consistently
- Re-engage aging client accounts to drive renewal and growth
- Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the cycle
Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience required
- 2+ years of services sales experience required
- Proven track record of closing commercial deals required
- CRM experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Willingness to travel monthly as needed required
