Role Description

The Inside Sales Account Executive will engage with prospective clients who have requested information regarding accounting, tax, and financial services for their venture-backed startup. They will be the initial contact for incoming new business, conducting introductory calls and preparing service quotes based on the current and projected needs and growth of the prospective client.

Achieve and consistently exceed sales goals by closing new business
Educate and guide prospective customers through their buyer’s journey
Monitor and nurture inbound leads with follow-ups
Understand and own the information regarding Kruze’s financial service offerings
Advise startup founders and operators on accounting & finance problems

Administrative tasks will include:

Provide updates to the Head of Sales and the executive team on the sales pipeline
Maintain and update records within Salesforce
Work cross-functionally with various teams
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to refine the sales playbook
Any other duties as directed by management

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a sales function or a customer engagement role
A natural relationship builder who would love to speak with startup founders
A high degree of ownership and strong ability to plan and prioritize
Strong writing and verbal skills
Comfortable operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Must be willing to work core business hours in their local time zone

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance (nice to have)
Experience in management consulting or a customer-facing role in an enterprise SaaS company (nice to have)
Experience working at a Consulting or Outsourced Bookkeeping/Accounting Firm (nice to have)
Ability to describe basic accounting systems and processes (nice to have)
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (nice to have)
A general understanding of the tax filing process (nice to have)
Experience working with early-stage VC-backed startups (nice to have)
Experience in a fully remote people-centric culture (nice to have)
