Role Description

To develop and achieve new business opportunities thru solid planning and execution in flooring. This position will develop new distributor and buying group partnerships. This position requires knowledge and understanding of sales, marketing and administrative duties as well as being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • New Business development and existing account management.
  • Work with individual customers to support, guide and drive sales growth.
  • Educate distributor representatives to grow business in their regions.
  • Assist with presentations to A&D firms and customers to gain LX Brand loyalty and market share.
  • Gain thorough understanding of market dynamics and activities within our industries and among key competitors.
  • Establish management relations with key customers throughout the value chain to gain preferred share position.
  • Implement sales, marketing and warranty programs efficiently and effectively.
  • Work with others in a team environment.
  • Interface with ATL Corporate Office and Headquarters in South Korea as required.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the management and operation of your individual boundaries.
  • Finding and following new sales leads (new business development) in North America region.
  • Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years proven track record in flooring business sales or related market.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.

Requirements

  • Position requires minimum 40% overnight travel.
  • Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer.
  • Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
