Role Description

We are seeking a Global Agency Development Lead to join our Advertising Team. As a Founding Member of the Agency team, this newly created role will transform our agency partnerships by establishing Discord as the essential platform for reaching engaged, high-intent audiences across international markets.

• Build and own strategic holding company relationships
• Drive revenue through partnership engineering
• Develop and execute agency strategy
• Remove systemic adoption barriers
• Build agency enablement infrastructure
• Serve as thought leader and advocate
• Own agency contact mapping and communication
• Provide strategic market intelligence
• Partner cross-functionally

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in brand advertising partnership sales or agency relationship management at major digital platforms
• Established network and credibility with C-suite and SVP-level stakeholders across major holding companies
• Outstanding communication and relationship building capabilities
• Demonstrated expertise in building and cultivating relationships with senior agency decision-makers
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to develop strategies from the ground up
• Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to synthesize complex data and insights
• Experience working in matrixed organizations
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time for client meetings and industry events

Requirements

• This position is US-based only. We are seeking candidates located in the New York Metropolitan Area, or who are willing to relocate to the New York Metropolitan Area.
• Relocation assistance may be available.
• For this role, there is no formal requirement to work from the office.
• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000 - $306,000 + equity + benefits.
