[Hiring] Distributor Account Manager @Waldom Electronics

Role Description

You will be joining our commercial team as a Distributor Account Manager to drive the sales plan while building strong business relationships with key decision makers.

• Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key distribution customers, understanding their business needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and growth objectives for each account.
• Business Development: Promote excess programs to decision-makers of Waldom SM&E (SLOW MOVING AND EXCESS) programs.
• Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance on account activities, revenue, inventory, and market trends.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and business analytics.
• Customer Satisfaction: Proactively address customer concerns and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with distributor re-organizations, industry trends, supplier acumen, and market dynamics.
• Travel Expectation: You will travel regularly to meet with customers—at least once per quarter—and participate in key trade shows and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience preferably interfacing with distribution management with top electronic component distributors.
• 3 years of proven experience as a Distributor Account Manager for an electronic component supplier.
• Demonstrated 3-year record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with key stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
