Role Description

The Client Partner is responsible for all client interactions for a portfolio of accounts. The role collaborates with their GTM and Delivery teams to devise account strategies and manage client relationships in line with these strategies.

  • Typically oversees a single account or a segment of a large account, which generates significant revenue.
  • Helps to build the RXT brand as the preferred consulting partner for cloud transformation projects, spanning business and technology.
  • Dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for RXT clients, expanding existing accounts and facilitating access to new ones.
  • Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or regional equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a field related to the role. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute degree requirement

Requirements

  • 12 - 14 years of experience in the field of role required
  • Expert-level knowledge in professional sales training and sales process
  • Expert-level understanding of the processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts in own job discipline
  • Expert-level knowledge of Rackspace product portfolio, strategy, competitors, and customers
  • Occasional domestic/international travel, less than 50%

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive bookings via ACV and TCV targets.
  • Accountable for significant revenue generation.
  • Responsible for profitability of assigned accounts (e.g., blended project margins and average bill rates).
  • Oversight and governance of delivery excellence for active engagements at accounts.
  • Conduct client satisfaction surveys.
  • Comfortable in having a CXO level conversation on their business priorities and ability to explain Rackspace value proposition.
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and coaching to team members assigned to projects on the account.
  • Ensure the proper administrative controls are in place and adhered to on the account.
  • Oversee the financial performance vs targets of the account.
  • Member of the market leadership team supporting technology industry client portfolio direction, strategy, and goal setting.
  • Promote RXT in the market by attending/speaking at industry events, panels, etc.
  • Engage and coordinate with partners and/or vendors to drive select deals through vendor-based opportunities.
  • Participate in regional sales governance processes and Deal Clinics to profile opportunities.
