Role Description

At Cloudera, we empower people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. Cloudera is seeking an energetic, innovative BDR with a flair for developing new business and identifying and selling to customer needs in Brazil.

  • Develop and execute a strategic and comprehensive business plan for your territory, including identifying core customers and mapping the benefits of Cloudera solutions to the business requirements.
  • Strive to understand the customer’s organizational structure and work to achieve alignment.
  • Take full responsibility for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and facilitation of sales enablement.
  • Coach partners, accessing resources within Cloudera to support them on specific opportunities.
  • Develop detailed sales/marketing plans and sales forecasts.
  • Manage time and work flow and create effective call plans.
  • Monitor competition and respond immediately and appropriately.
  • Build an exhaustive network and generate prolific referrals.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of successful Business Development experience.
  • Four year degree (Bachelor's) from an accredited university required.
  • Ability to travel.

  • Innovative vision and foresight to anticipate and create new opportunities.
  • Strong hunting capabilities and strategic operating skills.
  • Deep understanding of the business and technical contexts in which key accounts are situated.

  • Thrive in an independent mode but also value collaboration.
