Role Description

The Herff Jones College Division team is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.

In the role of Business Development Manager, you will serve as a key leader on the college sales team. Your focus will be centered around:

• Qualifying leads and hunting new business opportunities
• Building relationships across campuses
• Working with key decision makers to understand campus priorities and pain points
• Maintaining the new business pipeline for the Herff Jones College Division
• Interacting daily with independent sales partners, cross-functional leaders, and potential customers
• Providing feedback on the voice of customer to promote continuous improvement

Success in the role will depend on your ability to link leads and connections to generate new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline
• Previous experience in sales or marketing role

Requirements

• Successful background in a Sales, Marketing or business-related field
• Proven success in communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Self-motivator and works well independently
• Proven ability to build relationships across functions and locations using a variety of mediums
