Role Description
We are now looking for a highly experienced Business Development Manager to help build our private sector business.
- Increase the numbers of trading customers and increase the profitability of existing ones within the private sector
- Establish trust, understand the customers business and work to strengthen the partnership over time
- Attend face to face customer meetings and conference calls to scope and qualify and nurture the opportunities, and demonstrate the technology to them
- Manage the sales pipeline for your account base and report key deals and opportunities to the Divisional Sales manager when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience selling IT solutions to the private sector within a reseller environment
- IT industry experience preferably around Software Licensing, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Services, Software Asset Management and Managed Service
- Experience of conducting external meetings and capturing actions
- Fantastic commercial awareness and acumen
- Strong team player
Requirements
- Where is the role based? Our HQ is in Pocklington (YO42), this role can be remote in the UK with monthly visits to the office
- Following a screen with the Recruitment Team you can expect a two-stage interview process
