Role Description

- Generates new business opportunities by qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with potential buyers.
- Prospects, builds, and manages a sales pipeline through high volume, outbound calling.
- Documents and maintains all activity within the customer relationship management system to track activity, measure results, and ensure data integrity.
- Works with leadership and sales operations to identify gaps in processes, trends, and potential improvements.
- Generates profitable growth through quota attainment.
- Facilitates a smooth handoff to the inside or outside sales team once accounts have met the assigned sales quota.
- Research leads and existing business accounts to provide insightful dialogue that promotes supplies and services suited to create value in a relationship with the prospective client.
Qualifications
- 2 - 3+ years of sales, B2B, account management experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce, or similar CRM.
- Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, is a plus.
- Organizational skills & Professional phone etiquette.
- Comfortable in an Inbound / Outbound Phone Call environment.
- Independent and Accountable Self Starter.
- Experience with consultative selling/solution selling preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote / hybrid position.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
