[Hiring] Area Sales Manager @Eakin Healthcare

Role Description

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the management and sales development for Wound and Ostomy products in eastern Germany: Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Berlin, Bradenburg and Thuringen regions. This role involves a strong ability to work in autonomy.

• Day to day activity will include making appointments, conducting sales visits to a wide spectrum of customers (hospitals, homecare accounts, wholesalers and other institutions) where Eakin products may be used or promoted.
• Organizing or initiating training, sampling, follow up on meetings and attending congresses.
• Develop a sound knowledge of the customer base and a good technical knowledge of the products involved.
• Develop a strong network of contacts and influence in the market.
• Some overnight stays will be required (including some visits to our Headquarters in Ireland).
• Join a dedicated German team and work in close collaboration with international colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve overall sales in line with pre-agreed sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts within Eastern Germany.
• Grow sales.
• Organize and conduct customer appointments and presentations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales approach.
• Play an active part in building the Eakin Healthcare business in Germany.
• Develop productive long-term business relationships.
• Initiate and maintain excellent working relationships and professional communication with healthcare professionals, patients and channel partners in the region.
• Demonstrate a high level of organization to arrange sales appointments in advance and maintain client contact records with GDPR compliance.
• Attend regional and national events to promote Eakin products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field sales with medical devices.
• Knowledge of the ostomy and/or wound-care sector.
• Ability to work in full autonomy and cover a large territory.
• Strong business development skills and a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Available to travel extensively and occasionally outside of Germany including overnight stays.
• Full driving license.
• Fluency in English.

• Some experience of Key Account Management.

Additional Information

• Travel Requirements: primarily within the Eastern Germany regions (Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Berlin, Bradenburg and Thuringen), with some occasional travel within Germany and Ireland.
