Role Description

The main purpose of the Account Manager is to manage their assigned clients and their stores by planning, briefing, monitoring, and executing marketing campaigns aimed at driving conversions and sales. This includes managing, overseeing, and taking charge of the client-agency relationship for all the clients that have been assigned to you.

Your goal as an Account Manager is to assist your clients in meeting their revenue goals using the products and services of our company. The Account Manager will report directly to the Head of Account Managers, the Account Managers’ Leads, and the Service Director while working collaboratively with other departments.

Mission Statement

The primary mission of our Account Manager is to be in charge of maintaining a good relationship with your assigned clients while ensuring that our products and services are bringing results for our clients. This will include:

• Coming up with innovative ideas for clients’ marketing campaigns
• Monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns
• Keeping an open channel of productive communication with clients

You will also be responsible for leading teams consisting of professional Copywriters, Designers, and Account Managers’ Associates to ensure that your assigned clients’ marketing campaigns are executed smoothly. This involves:

• Outlining the client's campaign calendar
• Briefing new campaigns
• Delegating creative work
• Overseeing the timely delivery of marketing campaigns

General Responsibilities

• Effectively managing and ensuring that the marketing campaigns of your assigned clients are executed and performing well
• Building and maintaining a strong relationship with your assigned clients
• Planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies for your assigned clients
• Ensuring that the needs and expectations of your assigned clients are managed and met
• Working to improve the results from email marketing for your assigned clients
• Collaborating with team members to respond to client requests promptly
• Working alongside a team of experienced marketing professionals
• Continuously staying in contact with your assigned clients
• Collecting and analyzing data to understand consumer demographics and trends
• Regularly reporting on the performance of email marketing campaigns
• Working with the Service Department to maintain high work standards
• Keeping a tight grip on client churn and implementing strategies to prevent clients from leaving
• Troubleshooting and assisting with any issues related to clients’ satisfaction
• Being able to effectively work with any type of client with minimal supervision
• Participating in the Account Managers’ group calls
• Participating in training and skill-building sessions for Account Managers
• Acting as a liaison between clients and cross-functional teams
• Continuously working to identify new opportunities to expand services offered to clients
• Using data analysis techniques to create targeted campaigns for upselling services
• Continuously discovering industry-wide best practices and standards
• Being available to assist with all internal service-related needs from other departments
• Directly reporting to the Account Managers’ Leads, the Head of Account Managers, and the Service Director

Qualifications

• Extensive working experience in managing client accounts effectively
• Experience in email marketing
• Experience managing a team of marketing professionals
• Ability to act swiftly upon receiving urgent requests from clients
• Professional with considerable leadership and managerial experience
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Hubstaff, Asana, Klaviyo, and Google Workspace Suite
• Comfortable working in a remote environment

Requirements

• At least 12 months of experience in a digital marketing role
• At least 6 months of experience in email marketing
• Proven track record of achieving success in a leadership role
• Ability to work independently without compromising on work standards
• Highly accountable and responsive
• Great aptitude for working with people and problem-solving
• Possesses a growth and results-driven mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Excellent time management skills
• Stable internet connection and a laptop or PC
