Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued clients, nurturing and expanding these relationships to drive service usage and revenue growth.

Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Check customer use of services on a weekly basis to find opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
Assist with challenging client requests, education opportunities, or issue escalations as needed
Work closely with various departments such as implementation, sales, scheduling, accounting, and quality assurance to provide excellent customer experience
Attend and offer clients monthly and quarterly meetings
Attend client-held events as needed

Qualifications

Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Bay Area
Passionate about providing language services that help people connect
Driven by success and excited by the idea of controlling your income
Warm, friendly, and able to easily connect with strangers
Enjoy networking (even virtually), attending industry conferences, and building relationships with clients and referral sources
Well organized in tracking your pipeline and outreach efforts
Enjoy nurturing relationships over the long-term
Seeking a long-term position with growth opportunities
Desire to work in an upbeat, positive environment and develop strong relationships with team members and management
Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot (preferred) or SalesForce
Reliable transportation
A friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel 30% (mostly day trips)
Proven experience in Account Management
