Role Description
Mashgin is looking to hire a Sales Engineering Director to lead the sales engineering team in providing technical expertise and support to clients and the sales organization. You will build a high-performing team of sales engineers that can effectively partner with AEs to build trust with customers, solve technical and operational challenges, and increase the velocity of our sales.
- Building and leading a high-performing sales engineering team
- Ensuring sales engineers are well equipped to secure technical wins
- Working closely with the deployment team to ensure smooth customer onboarding
- Ensuring pilot deployments are successful
- Providing training and support to the sales team on product features, integration specs, and technical solutions
- Staying updated on market trends and competitor products to effectively position our offerings
- Collaborating with our product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence the product roadmap
- Creating and delivering presentations and demos for clients and prospects to showcase product capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles, with a proven track record in a leadership position
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and their application in the sales process
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members
- Experience in training and mentoring sales teams to enhance their technical knowledge and performance
- Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time to client sites all over the US
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth stage technology startup
- Experience selling combined hardware & software solutions
- Experience with Point of Sale technology
