Role Description

This Account Executive, US Payer role is responsible for developing and managing end-to-end strategic sales efforts for the US Payer sector.

  • Achieve a targeted sales plan
  • Prospect identification and lead development
  • Initiate sales calls and contract negotiations
  • Facilitate complex deal closures
  • Meet or exceed the sales goals established by the Company
  • Deliver the highest standard of integrity, quality, and customer service
  • Land new customers in the US Payer sector

Primary Functions:

  • Drive sales and close deals
  • Create a sales plan to target Payer accounts and identify opportunities for expansion
  • Generate new sales pipeline through networking and prospecting
  • Make sales presentations to customers and prospects at all levels
  • Build a pipeline with key decision makers at national and regional health plans
  • Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of Smile Digital Health’s solution offerings
  • Create payer contracts and structures across commercial and regulated healthcare and insurance programs
  • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to source and close partnerships and deals with payers
  • Act as a representative of Smile Digital Health at industry conferences and association meetings

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience in Healthcare provider/payer environments
  • B2B software or technology sales industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated revenue generation impact and ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Experience closing 7 figure contracts in the HealthTech space
  • Strong knowledge of Healthcare provider solutions and payer functions within the US
  • Knowledge of building and contracting bundled payer/provider service models
  • Experience with HEDIS, Care Gap closures, MIPS, and/or medical policies highly preferred
  • Ability to independently seek information and solve complex problems
  • Strives to develop self and others; demonstrates a high degree of self-awareness
  • Previous experience using software including Windows, Google Suite, SalesForce, and NetSuite preferred
  • Ability to travel 25-40% of the time
