Role Description
The Account Director is responsible for leading the organization’s overall relationship with assigned clients and for the successful delivery of the review cycle continuum. This role assumes a forward-thinking and confident professional who views our clients through a BIG PICTURE lens and confidently communicates at all levels of the organization.
- Lead internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery of contracted services
- Track Key Performance Indicators
- Understand & address factors negatively impacting service delivery
- Manage financial performance of the assigned portfolio
- Develop consultative relationships with key client stakeholders
- Drive key business development initiatives within the account
- Establish and maintain a productive relationship with internal and external clients
Qualifications
- Ability to process all medical records in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy
- Motivated, organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to access multiple system platforms
- Knowledge of policies & procedures, HIPAA regulations, and compliance standards
- Ability to read and comprehend simple healthcare terminology (e.g., DRG, Cost Outlier, Readmission)
- Data-entry experience with excellent typing skills
- Ability to learn new processes in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in release of information, medical records, or related experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
