Role Description
- Develop and maintain Cypress-based test automation frameworks for React applications.
- Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end tests for web applications using React, Django/DRF, and databases.
- Perform API testing for RESTful web services using tools like Postman or similar.
- Design and execute database tests to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Create and manage test data during automated testing processes.
- Conduct database testing to verify large datasets.
- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in Cypress automation testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing with Cypress or similar tools.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing Cypress test scripts.
- Strong understanding of React architecture, Django/DRF frameworks, and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Solid knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- English level: B2 or above.
