Role Description
- Championing quality and representing the team on such matters
- Defining and ensuring requirements are delivered to a quality standard
- Deep understanding of the fundamentals of testing and able to produce detailed test plans (including test case breakdowns) to support accurate and representative reporting and to coordinate test sign off
- Ability to traverse the product team/SMEs and requirements documents/designs to plan and rightsize tests to achieve comprehensive coverage
- Support the team and stakeholders to apply a pragmatic and systematic approach when assessing defects, focused and attentive to quality ensuring regression issues are minimized
- Ability to plan and write effective end-to-end integration tests to ensure the end-to-end capability results in a quality output
- Deep understanding of the importance of non-functional testing and security and how it applies to testing (protecting data); incorporate non-functional and security requirements into the decision-making process
- Understand the Infrastructure components and help to facilitate environment stability, highlighting areas that are missing and/or need to be reconfigured to support E2E testing
- Effectively share testing risks to stakeholders with clear proposed solutions to unblock or provide mitigation for risks and issues identified
- Effectively communicate testing progress, status, and risks to all stakeholders including Client representatives when required
- Contribute to enhancing our testing processes and the take on of tools; develop skills in utilizing tools to streamline the testing process
- Provide structured input into planning and estimation sessions, ensuring testing is planned effectively to ensure early detection of quality issues
- Developing an understanding and contributing to enhance standards used by the team
