Role Description

We are hiring an SQA Analyst III to join our Software Quality Assurance team at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee! In this role, you will help transform and expand test automation across our Digital organization, supporting web applications, mobile applications, mobile browsers, and integrated digital platforms.

• Build and maintain scalable automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Automate cross-browser and database validation.
• Support API automation as needed.
• Serve as a technical automation resource for agile delivery teams.
• Help increase automated test coverage and reduce manual testing dependencies.
• Improve the speed, stability, and quality of digital releases.
• Contribute to AI-augmented testing practices.
• Support strategic objectives for digital quality transformation and continuous product delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (or relevant open-source tools like Playwright) and Java developing and maintaining automation scripts.
• Experience automating testing for web applications and cross-browser environments.
• SQL and database testing experience, including writing queries and automating database validations.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks using Page Object Model (POM), TestNG, or hybrid frameworks.
• API validation and automation using Rest Assured.
• Experience working with modern automation frameworks and the ability to build scalable, maintainable automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with building CI/CD pipelines setup for automated test runs.

Requirements

• Healthcare industry experience (preferred).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or other similar test management tools (preferred).
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve QA efficiency (preferred).
• Understanding of entire project with the ability to prepare testing strategy and/or test plans.
• Perform testing as assigned including end-to-end validation by coordinating with multiple teams.
• Understand and gather project requirements from the customer, both internal and external.
• Create and review testing specification artifacts.
• Review requirements and identify gaps/missing information.
• Estimate small to medium projects using any one or more estimation techniques.
• Derive scenarios for testing, design test cases using test design techniques, document test data requirements, identify and create test data, perform testing utilizing different testing techniques, and report results.
• Hands-on experience of functional automation tools and/or performance automation tools.
• Promote and recommend improvements to the quality assurance standards.
• Lead collaboration with stakeholders or product team to communicate test delivery artifacts, results, and metrics.
