Role Description

Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Equisoft Inc., Philadelphia, PA.

• Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables.
• Identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications.
• Develop, document and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases.
• Execute and evaluate test cases and report test results.
• Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements.
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
• Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables.
• Identify any potential quality issues by defined process and communicate through appropriate channels.
• Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers.
• Own quality assurance at every stage of the delivery process.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (Any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive related work experience.
• In the alternative, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (Any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.

Requirements

• Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:
• Leading a team of quality assurance specialists in quality assurance processes;
• Life Insurance and Annuity Business processes;
• Relational databases and SQL;
• Participating in the full lifecycle of a project;
• Working in an Agile environment.
