Role Description
Valorx is looking for a detail-oriented quality assurance specialist to be in charge of all quality assurance activities. The quality assurance specialist's responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing quality assurance policies
- Conducting tests and inspections
- Identifying production, process, or product issues
- Presenting solutions
To be successful as a Senior QA specialist you should be incredibly thorough and able to help our company maintain the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- Open to Malaysian Citizen Only
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance – We will train you but need you to be able to understand complex software and its use cases
- Experience working with Automation frameworks
- Catch deeply ingrained defects
- Experience in Salesforce technology (Optional)
- Understanding of SDLC and tools such as Sprints and Jira
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
- Ideally come from a development background in both frontend and backend testing
Requirements
- Review system requirements and design documents and prepare test plans and strategies
- Analyze, create, execute, maintain, and document accurate test cases
- Ensure complete coverage of functional and non-functional aspects of Software from a testing point of view
- Troubleshoot, debug, and suggest improvements in customer implementations from the perspective of product features and functionality
- Execute functional, integration and regression testing plans and scripts
- Work closely with engineers and product owners locally
- Log, track and document bugs discovered during testing as well as gather all necessary information
- Document, analyze and communicate results of functional testing
- Perform API testing (if applicable)
- Work on defect logging, tracking, resolution, and verification
- Verify new features and enhancements/improvements
- Perform regression, installation, and upgrade testing in every release cycle
