Role Description

This role involves software testing with a focus on automation for web applications.

Total Experience 3+ years
Strong experience in software testing, including automating test cases
Expertise in Cucumber, SpecFlow, and Playwright
Hands-on experience in defect management and familiarity with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Strong communication skills with client interaction experience
Hands-on experience with Zephyr for test management
Experience using Selenium WebDriver and CI/CD tools (TFS, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins)
Proven ability to create dashboards and provide insights on test execution
Analyse application requirements to create test plans and test cases
Design, develop, and execute automated tests using various programming languages
Experience in Test Automation Framework, Behavior Driven Testing, and API Testing
Use testing tools such as UFT, TOSCA, Katalon Studio, Appium, etc.
Use testing frameworks such as Junit, Nunit, TestNg, etc.
Solid understanding of Agile principles
Ensure quality, performance, and reliability of applications
Identify and report bugs and defects
Generate and maintain test reports and documentation
Collaborate with the software development team on software quality

Responsibilities

Understand functional and non-functional requirements and document them
Interact with clients to identify scope of testing and acceptance criteria
Prepare test plan/strategy
Estimate test effort and prepare schedules for testing activities
Manage risks by identifying, mitigating, and resolving business and technical risks
Design and develop a framework for automated testing
Prepare test reports summarizing testing outcomes
Communicate measurable quality metrics and suggest solutions
Participate in retrospective meetings to improve testing processes
Conduct demos of the application for stakeholders
Triage and prioritize defects for resolution
Provide constructive feedback to team members

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
