Role Description
The Quality Process Improvement Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing product quality, streamlining processes, and driving continuous improvement across company locations. This position focuses on quality assurance, cost efficiency, on-time product delivery, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen overall operational performance.
- Partner with facility Quality Managers to implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to weld quality systems and industry best practices.
- Develop and document quality system procedures, work instructions, and forms to support improvement activities.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct process capability studies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Utilize root cause analysis tools to troubleshoot issues and implement long-term solutions.
Auditing & Compliance:
- Perform facility quality assessments to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
- Support audits of engineering and manufacturing processes to drive best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of experience auditing engineering and manufacturing processes
- 2+ years of experience conducting root cause analysis
- 2+ years of experience performing process capability studies
- Advanced expertise in welding and fabrication
- Basic experience with BI report writing and data analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification (preferred)
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience auditing engineering and manufacturing processes (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in BI report writing and data analysis (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience conducting process capability studies (preferred)
