[Hiring] QA/QC Field Technician III @DLB Associates

Role Description

The QA/QC Field Technician III ensures all systems are installed to the project requirements in accordance with the Project Documents, Basis of Design (BOD), the Commissioning Plan of Record and the Quality Control Plan. This person will collaborate with design engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors and client staff to validate newly installed electrical and mechanical systems including those in mission critical facilities.

• Monitor Daily Construction Activities and provide timely status reports on project scheduling, Change Order management, contractor conformance to Quality Control Plan, and Submittal/RFI responses.
• Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
• May work independently or under immediate supervision.
• May serve as lead on routine projects of limited scope.
• Communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls system principles.
• Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Exceptional organizational skills for file management.
• Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows.
• Ability to work successfully in a remote environment.
• Ability to follow company and site safety requirements.
• Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines.
• Ability to achieve certification for NFPA70E and/or OSHA training as required.
• Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
