[Hiring] Member of Technical Staff, Quality Engineering @Hello Realign

Role Description

Micro1 seeks a hands-on Staff-level engineer to build an intelligent quality-engineering platform, integrating AI agents with strong test automation so engineering can ship confidently as product complexity grows.

• Build AI-assisted test generation, automated regression, failure analysis, and bug triage.
• Architect maintainable frameworks for web applications, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
• Integrate quality checks into CI/CD and releases.
• Find coverage gaps and prioritize tests based on changes and risk.
• Establish visibility into test reliability and release readiness.
• Mentor engineers while setting shared quality standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive Quality Engineering, SDET or Test Automation Architecture experience.
• Strong programming and production automation skills.
• Deep web, API, and end-to-end testing experience.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, pytest or equivalent tools.
• Expertise in CI/CD, contract testing, regression strategy, and test infrastructure.
• Experience designing scalable systems.
• Practical daily use of AI coding agents.
• Independent architectural ownership and technical leadership.
• Experience testing nondeterministic AI products or building agentic QA systems is useful.

• Full-time; remote.

Benefits

• Compensation range: US$260,000–US$400,000 per year.
• National base-salary range: US$180,000–US$250,000 per year.
