Role Description
This role involves ensuring the quality of backend services through various testing methodologies.
- Provide requirements analysis and processing
- Maintain and update testing documentation for backend services
- Create and maintain test cases/checklists and other types of test documentation
- Perform feature and regression testing on different stages, from business requests to full-scale production rollout
- Analyze reasons for failed tests, report issues, and take corrective actions
- Participate in process improvements to increase product quality and team performance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in WEB testing, preferably in the Fintech domain
- Strong understanding of software testing theory and methodologies
- Good understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience in API testing (Postman or similar)
- Good knowledge of UI/UX best practices
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Strong knowledge of different testing methods, test design techniques, and types
- Familiarity with Git Flow
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile Concepts, and QA best practices across the SDLC
- Good understanding of HTML/CSS, JSON/XML
- Experience with Test Case Management Software (e.g. TestRail)
- Basic experience or understanding of the automation testing process
- Experience in testing payment systems, processing transactions, and DB queries (SQL) will be a plus
- Familiarity with Playwright or similar testing frameworks will be a plus
