Role Description

Implement and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, facilitating faster and more reliable releases
Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, manage configurations, and monitoring
Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring high availability and performance
Work closely with development and operations teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices
Implement and maintain security best practices in infrastructure and applications, conduct regular security audits, and collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for development and operations teams, ensuring efficient resolution of issues

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience in a DevOps role
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud and services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DocDB, KMS, VPC, Route53, etc
Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tool: GitLab CI
Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts
Relevant certifications (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm) are a plus
Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Victoria-metrics, Grafana, Alert Manager, ELK stack
