[Hiring] Lead Software Test Engineer @Danaher Corporation

Role Description

Define and drive software testing and verification strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage across:

• Functional testing
• Integration testing
• System testing
• Regression testing
• Exploratory testing
• Risk-based testing

Design, review, and execute test scenarios and test cases, lead integration and end-to-end testing, analyze failures, and drive effective defect resolution.

Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify:

• Quality risks
• Requirement gaps
• Traceability issues
• Testability concerns

Provide technical leadership and mentoring in software testing and quality engineering, driving:

• Best practices
• Continuous improvement
• Release-readiness assessments

Improve testing processes, methodologies, tools, and efficiency, including leveraging AI-assisted testing for:

• Test design
• Automation
• Failure analysis
• Overall software quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
• Long-standing experience in software testing, verification, or software quality engineering, including experience taking technical ownership of complex testing activities.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and risk-based testing, with experience defining test strategies and release-readiness criteria.
• Experience in requirements analysis, test scenario and test case design, requirements-to-test traceability, software integration, and end-to-end testing, including troubleshooting issues across software components and interfaces.
• Strong experience in defect management, root-cause analysis, and quality risk assessment, using tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, or equivalent.
