Role Description
Join J-Vers as a General QA Engineer to build QA processes from scratch and help shape the future of recruitment!
About the product:
- Our product is a white-niche marketing platform designed to help companies with creating job advertising campaigns and managing traffic.
- Currently in the MVP stage, providing a great chance to join a small startup team (CTO, 3 Developers, and Product Owner) and have a real impact on its development.

- Python 3.11+
- FastAPI
- Postgres
- Kafka
- Kubernetes
- TypeScript
- React
- Digital Ocean
What You'll Be Doing:
- Test new features and ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
- Write and maintain test documentation, test cases, and reports.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testing strategies.
- Build and enhance our automation framework for API and functional testing.
- Build QA processes from scratch, as you'll be the first QA Engineer on the team.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems (OS) and Networking (OSI model, TCP/IP Stack, DNS).
- Understanding of Testing Theory, test design techniques, and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of REST, HTTP, and JSON.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity and desire to work with automation testing.
Requirements
- Experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing (nice to have).
- Familiarity with Test Automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) (nice to have).
