[Hiring] ERP Application Analyst Sr – Quality Assurance & Testing @Advocate Health

Role Description

This position supports and optimizes symplr Time & Attendance and Staff Scheduling systems by partnering with clinical, operational, HR, payroll, and IT teams. Focuses on workforce scheduling, staffing operations, system integrations, and ERP quality assurance, including SIT/UAT testing and defect management.

• Designs and develops technical and/or non-technical solutions to moderate to complex business needs and changes.
• Assists with conversion and operational support planning activities and task of multiple simultaneous projects.
• Identifies how requirements and designs will affect multiple application areas and recommends solutions.
• Acts independently fully understanding client business requirements and offers effective alternatives.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis.
• Effectively communicates with users addressing complex project requirements.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization.
• Evaluates vendor offerings and software enhancements for adherence to technical standards.
• Analyzes business and clinical service line operations to determine opportunities to automate processes.
• Prepares project plans, including definition, scope, resources, and schedules.
• Coordinates all aspects of assigned system development, implementation, operation, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in working on moderate to complex business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing, and documentation.

• Proficient in using applications, operating systems, and databases.
• Strong project management skills with ability to use project management software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple tasks, and guide team members.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in translating user requirements into system specifications.
• Demonstrated understanding of technical components and how they relate to applications.
