Role Description

The Director, Quality - US /CAN at Clarios is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality management systems across the United States. This role involves:

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with various departments to achieve quality objectives.
• Playing a critical role in decision-making and accountability.
• Managing and supporting quality teams within operations.
• Having extensive hands-on shop floor experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and deploying a world-class quality management system.
• Leading significant quality improvement across the region.
• Managing quality assurance including Systems, APQP, and Warranty.
• Leading global quality testing processes to meet customer quality requirements.
• Providing leadership in the Quality discipline.
• Collaborating with various departments to achieve quality objectives.
• Developing and implementing a Quality strategy that delivers measurable value.
• Promoting Quality best practices within the organization.
• Managing Regional warranty and customer claims.
• Supporting new product/process launch to meet customer quality standards.
• Defining and developing quality objectives in the business plan.
• Ensuring quality controls are functioning in various areas.
• Driving accountability across the region to improve quality levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is required.
• At least 10 years of operations related work experience.
• At least 5 years of quality related work experience.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and manage projects.
• Demonstrated high energy level and proactive leadership.
• Hands-on style and willingness to perform detailed work.
• Motivation, adaptability, and professional qualities to work well with others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Teams.
• Experience in developing and implementing quality strategies.
• Ability to collaborate and build partnerships with others.
• Sound analytical abilities and business sense.
