Role Description

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating technology projects, managing schedules and resources, identifying and mitigating risks, tracking budgets, facilitating cross-functional teams, maintaining stakeholder communications, and ensuring delivery follows established governance, change-control, and approval processes. The role serves as a central coordination point between technical and business stakeholders to keep complex technology initiatives aligned, on track, and within budget.

To support this mission, OSIT has initiated a multi‑year modernization program aimed at updating and enhancing enterprise technology systems in accordance with modern design standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience
• 1+ year of experience on the five stages of project management: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitor and Control, and Closeout, with the ability to articulate that understanding through relevant work experience
• 1+ year of experience working closely with Software engineering teams on technical projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, with an emphasis in Project Management (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Microsoft Project, Visio, and Access (Preferred)
• Leadership experience (Preferred)
• Strong time-management skills (Preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to balance projects of varying complexity simultaneously (Preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (Preferred)
• Ability to facilitate and negotiate consensus around project and/or product goals (Preferred)
