[Hiring] Technical Project Manager @Whitecollars

Role Description

The Technical Project Manager (AUS) supports customers throughout the fleet electrification lifecycle, combining EV charging infrastructure expertise with the delivery of our client’s Charge Management System (CMS).

• Provides technical leadership from early planning and concept development through infrastructure implementation, system onboarding, and operational handover.
• Acts as a trusted subject matter expert during planning and design development, advising on:
  • Charging infrastructure and technology selection
  • Electrical and communications requirements
  • Site concept design
  • Depot and grid upgrade planning
• Supports tender evaluation and technical assessment, coordinates stakeholder and design-review workshops, reviews contractor designs and technical submissions, and identifies technical risks, gaps, and constructability issues.
• Leads the transition into our client post-installation, including:
  • Onboarding chargers and supporting site equipment
  • Validating configurations and integrations
  • Coordinating end-to-end testing and operational readiness
  • Guiding customers through training and process change
• Responsible for keeping projects commercially and operationally on track, coordinating customers, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams.
• Oversees commissioning and integration of equipment, ensuring compliance with testing, documentation, and handover requirements.
• Provides technical support for complex issues, contributes delivery expertise to bids and product discussions, and develops capable local implementation partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects in the electric vehicle charging or energy sector.
• University degree in engineering (electrical, electronic, control systems, telecommunications, or similar discipline).
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting across electrical, communications, networking, software, and control-system disciplines.
• Experience using control systems or energy management systems for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience building client rapport and providing strong customer service.
• Experience managing project delivery, including milestones, budgets, contract scope, resources, risks, reporting, and operational handover.
