Role Description

We are sharing a full-time opportunity for an experienced healthcare and medical professional with strong leadership, project execution, data operations, and domain expertise to lead complex initiatives supporting advanced AI organisations and healthcare-focused data workflows. The role combines medical-domain knowledge with end-to-end project leadership. The successful candidate will translate ambiguous customer needs into clear project specifications, design and improve healthcare data workflows, coordinate Operations and Health/Medicine subject-matter experts, manage delivery milestones, and maintain direct communication with senior stakeholders. An MD or equivalent medical degree is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Healthcare Workflow Leadership
  • Own complex projects from scoping through execution and final delivery
  • Translate customer requirements into structured project plans and healthcare workflow specifications
  • Define milestones, dependencies, deliverables, quality standards, and success criteria
  • Design workflows suited to clinical, medical, research, and healthcare-data tasks
  • Resolve blockers quickly and maintain delivery momentum
• Data Operations & Quality
  • Design and refine healthcare-focused data pipelines and human-data workflows
  • Coordinate expert-driven review, annotation, and evaluation processes
  • Improve workflow efficiency, scalability, and operational reliability
  • Establish quality-control and delivery processes
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements
• Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Work closely with physicians, healthcare professionals, Operations teams, and project leads
  • Own client communication across scope, quality, timing, progress, and risk
  • Align contributors around clear responsibilities and execution expectations
  • Provide concise updates, direction, and feedback
  • Support rapid deployment of expert teams for new initiatives
• AI & Human-Data Project Delivery
  • Support projects involving AI training, evaluation, and human-generated healthcare data
  • Translate customer objectives into scalable operational systems
  • Apply medical-domain judgement to project specifications and evaluation criteria
  • Maintain strong execution across medical, operational, and technical workstreams
  • Improve workflows supporting complex AI and data initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree required
• 2+ years of experience in medicine, healthcare, clinical practice, medical research, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience leading complex projects, operational workflows, or healthcare-related initiatives
• Strong healthcare and medical-domain knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from ambiguity through delivery
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience coordinating cross-functional or expert teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively with senior healthcare and medical professionals
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, urgency, and operational discipline
• Experience with clinical workflows, medical research, or healthcare data is valuable
• Experience with technical or data-intensive healthcare projects is beneficial
• Familiarity with AI/ML organisations, data annotation, evaluation workflows, or human-in-the-loop systems is advantageous

Engagement Details

• Full-time engagement
• Fully remote
• Compensation: $400,000–$550,000/year
• Work will involve strategic project leadership, healthcare and medical workflows, stakeholder management, data operations, human-data pipelines, project delivery, and cross-functional coordination
• Responsibilities may span clinical workflows, medical research, healthcare data, AI-training operations, and expert evaluation
• Regular communication with customers, Health/Medicine domain experts, Operations teams, and project leads is expected
• Project scope, priorities, customer requirements, and workflows may evolve based on business needs
• Work must be completed without using confidential, proprietary, identifiable patient information, protected health information, regulated medical data, or otherwise restricted information belonging to any employer, healthcare organisation, patient, research institution, client, or other third party
