Role Description

As an Infrastructure Sr Project Manager – IT Site Builds at MKS, you will work cross-functionally with various teams to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT deliverables for new site builds, site expansions, relocations, and site modification projects. In this role, you will report to the Director of IT Programs.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Leading and managing IT project delivery activities for new site builds, site modifications, office expansions, relocations, and retrofit projects.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, dependency trackers, and readiness checkpoints across required IT workstreams.
• Serving as the primary IT project lead for assigned site build initiatives, coordinating cross-functional delivery.
• Facilitating project meetings, readiness reviews, issue resolution sessions, leadership updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Supporting project budget development, forecasting, purchase order coordination, vendor quotes, and tracking of scope, schedule, and cost performance.
• Maintaining active management of project risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and changes.
• Ensuring site deployments adhere to enterprise architecture standards and project governance practices.
• Coordinating operational readiness and go-live transition activities.

Travel Requirements: Up to 20% of travel may be required based on project and site needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, site deployment, workplace technology, or related technology programs.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking up and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing projects involving network and wireless deployments, datacenter/server room readiness, and end-user technology deployment initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management practices.
• Experience coordinating internal technical teams and third-party vendors.
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.

Requirements

• Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, office, or multi-use facility environments.
• Experience with global or multi-site IT deployment programs.
• Familiarity with MDF/IDF design considerations and structured cabling standards.
• Working knowledge of enterprise networking and operational handoff processes.
• Experience in organizations with established PMO governance.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, CAPM, ITIL Foundation, Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery experience is beneficial.

Benefits

• Salary Pay Range: $88,000 - $147,000 per year.
• This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
