[Hiring] Senior Technical Program Manager @Monzo

Role Description

At Monzo, our mission is to make money work for everyone, everywhere. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help ship more and better payment product offerings. This is a high-impact role that demands both technical expertise and exceptional leadership to drive our ambitious goals.

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of launching payment products that cross multiple teams and disciplines.
• Manage cross-collective programs:
• Define program roadmaps and milestones, set priorities, manage trade-offs, identify and manage critical path and risks, ensure alignment with the business goals and ambition.
• Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders, both technical and non-technical across the business to ensure alignment and speed of delivery.
• Manage dependencies, timeline and sequencing of delivery.
• Drive effective decision making to remove blockers and speed up delivery.
• Ensure operational effectiveness across your collective/area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing complex technology programs or products from inception to launch.
• Able to communicate clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences, including executive leadership.
• Comfortable in a global business with a presence in multiple markets.
• Effective in working with a diverse range of people and working styles.
• Understanding of how functionality comes together across products and platforms to deliver value for users.
• Comfortable diving deep into data and architecture to make good decisions in complex situations.
