[Hiring] Senior Strategic Delivery Coordinator @GuidePoint Security

Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Strategic Delivery Coordinator to lead and drive the delivery of complex Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) and Threat Intelligence engagements. This role will independently manage end-to-end engagement lifecycles, mentor junior team members, and champion process improvement initiatives while providing "Wow Them" service to clients and internal stakeholders.

The Sr. Strategic Delivery Coordinator will be required to demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, serve as a trusted advisor to the Strategic Delivery Manager and Practice Leadership, and leverage deep knowledge of DFIR and GRIT operations to ensure the successful delivery of high-priority engagements across multiple sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Independently lead and manage complex, high-visibility DFIR & GRIT engagements end-to-end — from scoping and initiation through closure — with minimal oversight.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical engagements and client concerns, including active incident response events.
• Proactively identify and mitigate engagement risks, scope changes, and delivery blockers.
• Coordinate and ensure the quality and consistency of comprehensive engagement deliverables.
• Manage engagement financials awareness including hours tracking, burn rate monitoring, and budget adherence.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand client engagements or recommend additional GuidePoint services.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of repeatable delivery processes, automation, orchestration, and standardization initiatives.
• Define and track key delivery metrics and KPIs; generate reporting and analysis to inform Practice Leadership.
• Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Delivery Coordinators.
• Conduct engagement debriefs, facilitate lessons-learned sessions, and assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
• Partner with the Strategic Delivery Manager/Practice Lead and other Practice Leadership on capacity planning and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Account Executives, Finance/Billing, and Technical Consulting teams.
• Communicate proactively and regularly with Practice Leadership regarding engagement status, team health, risk posture, and strategic recommendations.
• Perpetually strengthen relevant skills, knowledge, and abilities to stay at the forefront of the information security industry.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in project management, delivery coordination, or engagement management within a cybersecurity consulting or managed services environment.
• 2+ years of direct experience working in or supporting Digital Forensics & Incident Response and/or Threat Intelligence operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements end-to-end in a consulting services model.
• Experience with Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) and Threat Intelligence methodologies, processes, and tooling.
• Proven track record of client relationship management and stakeholder communication at both technical and executive levels.
• Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to work smarter, solve problems, and drive better business outcomes.

Preferred Experience and Education

• Strong understanding of network traffic analysis, host forensics, malware handling/triage, log review, attack surface monitoring, dark web intelligence, threat modeling, and incident response lifecycle methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of industry-related solutions including EDR, NDR, XDR, SIEM, FW, NGAV, Velociraptor, OSQuery, and others.
• Relevant industry certifications strongly preferred, such as PMP, CAPM, SANS GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GREM, GCTI), CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Experience designing and implementing process improvements, delivery frameworks, or operational workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or lead peers in a team environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and project management/collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Salesforce/Certinia).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 10% travel.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work.
• Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
