[Hiring] Senior Project Manager @Aither Group Ag

Role Description

Aither Impact is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Nature-based Solutions Technical Lead to take technical ownership of an active and diverse Nature-based Solutions (NbS) portfolio and drive projects from feasibility through to credit issuance. The portfolio includes:

• Afforestation, Reforestation and Revegetation (ARR) projects in Africa.
• Mangrove restoration projects in Southeast Asia.
• A large-scale regenerative agriculture programme.

This is an opportunity to join a small, agile team, take ownership of high-impact projects and work directly with project developers, field partners, investors and carbon standards bodies.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in carbon project development.
• Strong technical background in Nature-based Solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Verra methodologies, particularly VM0047.
• Practical project experience applying VM0033 and/or VM0042.
• Proven experience developing Project Design Documents (PDDs) that have progressed through validation.
• Strong carbon modelling capabilities.
• Working knowledge of major carbon standards and NbS methodologies.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• French language skills are a plus.

Requirements

• Ability to translate project concepts into structured work plans.
• Define deliverables and coordinate internal teams and external partners.
• Manage deadlines and provide clear progress updates against agreed targets.
