Role Description

The Sr. Project Controls Analyst (Sr. PCA) oversees and optimizes workforce to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and high service levels for Budget set up, Cost Control, Cost reporting, and Change Management. The Sr PCA is intended to perform the activities assigned in autonomy but in continuous coordination with the Project Team.

• Lead Project Control team on an assigned Project.
• Coordinate with operations and stakeholders.
• Implement systems and processes to balance demand and capacity.
• Coordinate a team of PCA and Jr. PCA based on project size and complexity.

Job duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Coordinate the Project Team in Budget Management, Cost Control, Forecasting, and Change Management.
• Drive the development and maintenance of Project Budget from inception to completion.
• Prepare, maintain, update, and review Cost Control System.
• Prepare, maintain, update, and review Progress Measurement, Monitoring, and Reporting System.
• Drive updates of the ETC and EAC and all time and cost control related tools.
• Analyze and report variances between forecast and current budget.
• Evaluate performance from Subcontractors in Time and Materials Cost Plus Agreement.
• Analyze and approve/revise/reject Subcontractors payapps and Suppliers' invoices.
• Assess design or field related change order requests from Subcontractors and Clients.
• Report Forecast vs Budget status to project team, company management, and clients.
• Coordinate timely preparation and issuance of Owner Billing.
• Attend OAC review meetings at project locations (available to travel within the USA).
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• No professional license required, but certification from PMI or AACE is a plus.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Hands-On experience in using Project Management System (i.e. Procore, Unifier).
• Knowledge of Accounting Systems (Oracle Fusion, Vista, SAP).
• Knowledge of Scheduling Software (Primavera P6 EPPM or Oracle Primavera Cloud; ASSTA, Microsoft Project) is a plus.
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Risk Analysis techniques.
• Experience in large industrial construction projects preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Time management skills with the ability to meet reporting deadlines.

• Ability to analyze contractors schedule(s) during development phase and active construction.
• Advanced knowledge of Change Management.
• Experience in Scheduling is a plus.
• Ability to travel and/or relocate within the United States.
